This Chinese idiom means ‘Sailing with the wind’, a nice way to say have a safe and pleasant trip;

Our Story

Yifan Mandarin was founded in 2002 in Hong Kong by Kate Zhou and partners, specializes in teaching Mandarin as a second language to children. Yifan aims to offer professional Mandarin learning opportunities to students of international schools in Hong Kong who lack sufficient exposure to Mandarin in their daily lives but are eager to engage in comprehensive Mandarin education.

Kate’s family is a cross cultural of Chinese & French. She was determined to raise her children trilingual in Hong Kong, with this motivation in mind, she created Yifan when her first child was born in 2002, Today, she proudly declares "mission completed!"  As a language lover and professional teacher, Kate wants her company to help more children and parents to reach Yifan’s mission.
